RussianISTOK brings together the European and Russian ICT communities
ISTOK initiative has been proposed by European and Russian partners and supported by the European Commission in order to create EU-Russian ICT virtual community, to identify priorities for deeper strategic ICT cooperation between Russia and the European Union and to help the European Commission to link FP7 ICT calls to joint European-Russian ICT priorities.
ISTOK finalized the list of 8 ICT topics for strategic EU-RU collaboration
The ISTOK team delivered in May 2008 the list of 8 topics positioned as most relevant for the further EU-RU R&D collaboration in the ICT domain.
The technological areas proposed in the final version of the document are as follows:
